Ava Gruber Wins Shakespeare Competition

Congratulations to Ava Gruber '18, winner of the 2014 Brimmer and May Shakespeare Competition! She will go on to represent the School at the English-Speaking Union's regional competition on January 24 at Mount Ida College Campus Center Theatre. Students prepared and delivered a 20-line section from a Shakespeare play and a sonnet to a panel of Brimmer and May teachers Dean of Upper School Students Paul Murray, English teacher Don Reese, and Creative Arts Department Chair Bill Jacob who then decided the winner. This is the seventh year the School has organized the competition.
