  • 2024 — SAMMY MOJICA '14 & EMMA RAWLS ’02

Athletic Director Tom Nelson says, "Sammy Mojica entered my life at the perfect time. We needed a talented student-athlete to revitalize our program—someone capable of handling the academic rigor of Brimmer while leading us to the playoffs on the court. Sammy needed a coach and a community that could nurture his talent both on and off the court."

In his first year, Sammy helped Brimmer reach the NEPSAC AA playoffs. He earned All-League honors and led the team in scoring. Over the next two years, Sammy scored 1,002 points, was named to the NEPSAC First Team, and earned a scholarship to Drexel University. He was the third pick in the Puerto Rican Draft and went on to win a championship while playing professional basketball in South America.

In her seven years at Brimmer, Emma Rawls not only excelled in the classroom but equally competed on the fields and courts. Emma was a three-season athlete throughout her years in Upper School, playing soccer, basketball, and lacrosse. Her coaches remarked that Emma was a joy to coach as she was an enthusiastic, tenacious, and hardworking player. Upon receiving the Outstanding Athlete Award, then-Athletic Director Jeff Gates said, “She was a three-season athlete who was elected captain in all three sports. With her outstanding play in goal, she helped lead the soccer team to its first ever Independent Girls Conference Championship and a bid to the New England Prep School Tournament. She was named an All-League and All-New England basketball player for two consecutive years. She earned MVP in soccer and basketball, and she was the leading scorer on the lacrosse team with 64 goals.”
  • 2023 — JANE CROCKER '73 & AJ REEVES '18

From the beginning of her high school athletics career, Jane Crocker '73 was always known as the ultimate teammate. Her enthusiasm for sports at Brimmer and May was contagious. Her athletic career began with JV Field Hockey in 9th grade, and then Varsity Field Hockey 10-12th grades, where she helped lead the team to the undefeated season. She also played Varsity Tennis and Varsity Basketball, where she was the captain. She was so engaged in athletics that she became a member of the Upper School Athletic Association in her sophomore year and was elected as the President of that association in her Senior year 1973. She also served as President of the Green Team when Brimmer celebrated with Green and White Games. She was a true sports woman at Brimmer and always promoted fair play and pure enjoyment through fitness.

AJ Reeves '18 entered Brimmer and May in the fall of 2014. He transformed from a skinny 6’3” freshman to finishing his career ranked as the 50th best player in the country by ESPN. He scored a remarkable 1,928 career points, making him the all-time leading scorer at Brimmer and May, surpassing Derek Retos’ previous record of 1,763 points. In his senior year, he was named the Massachusetts Gatorade Player of the Year and was invited to play in the prestigious Allen Iverson Classic. As a junior, he attended the NBA Top 100 Camp in Virginia. During his senior season at Brimmer, he averaged an impressive 28 points per game. After leaving Brimmer, he joined Providence College, where he led the team to the Sweet 16 in the NCAA tournament and graduated while creating his own major. He was invited to play for the Boston Celtics Summer League team and spent the following year on the Celtics’ development team in Maine. He was twice named to the Big East Honor Roll. AJ frequently returns to Brimmer’s campus to work out, attend sporting events, and share his knowledge with current students.
  • 2023 — 1972 FIELD HOCKEY TEAM

The 1972 Varsity Field Hockey Team was selected for induction to the Brimmer Athletics Hall of Fame for the team’s outstanding contributions to the Varsity Field Hockey program during the 1972 season. This varsity field hockey team, coached by the first ever Athletic Director, Jean Buzzi, was the first team in the history of the School to mount an undefeated season – the winning season was all wins and one tie against Milton Academy. Jean Buzzi, the Athletic Director, strongly encouraged the students trying out for the varsity team that fall, to attend field hockey camp for two weeks in August at Stonehill College. Many of the team members did do that, and it proved to be a boost for the season.

We have a message from Coach and Former AD, Jean Buzzi, who is now 80 years old and living in Florida: “Congratulations are in order for the Brimmer and May undefeated 1972 Field Hockey Team. I am thrilled the team has been recognized coming from ground zero to knocking on the hall of fame door! Do you all remember plastic hockey sticks, wiffle ball, the one car garage with tunics and bloomers? Looking back, I can see the dedication and hard work that made it happen. I loved every moment of my coaching days at Brimmer and will always remember how fortunate I was to have such wonderful young ladies to work with… Please forgive me if I yelled at you!”
  • 2022 — TOM BYRNE '02 & MEREDITH MITCHELL '02

From the beginning of her high school career, Meredith Mitchell '02 was the star of every team she played on and she lead the varsity soccer and basketball teams to league championships. She was a fantastic student and embodied what we all think of as a student athlete.

Meredith was selected for induction into the Brimmer Athletics Hall of Fame after reviewing her record of receiving 12 varsity letters in Soccer, Basketball, and Lacrosse throughout her time in the Upper School. In addition, she received 4 Scholar Athlete Awards, MVPs, and was named the Athletic Association Award winner at graduation.

Tom Byrne '02 was also a 3-season varsity athlete and was selected because of his outstanding contribution to Brimmer athletics while he was at Brimmer. Tom was a major contributor to Varsity Soccer, Varsity Lacrosse and Varsity Basketball and was the recipient of an unbelievable 6 Scholar Athlete Awards, along with several Coaches Awards, Most Improved, and MVP awards.

Tom too was the embodiment of "student-athlete" who is remembered for his hard work and team orientation while playing sports. He is especially remembered as crucial to the ongoing success of the Boys Lacrosse program when there was a question whether we could continue that program. You will all be happy to know, that because of the work Tom and his teammates did to revive the Lacrosse team, it continues to thrive today.
  • 2022 — BERNEY GOVE SKUTEL '67

Berney Gove Skutel '67 was selected for induction to the Brimmer Athletics Hall of Fame for her outstanding contributions to the Varsity Field Hockey program during her high school career and is remembered for her beautiful play and her incredible control of the ball.

Berney was a leader on and off the field and was an active member of the student body at Brimmer and May. While she was a student, Berney was the President of the Athletics Association and the Team Captain and lead the fall 1966 Field Hockey Team to a winning season.
  • 2019 — QUINN IULIANO '14

Quinn Iuliano '14, began his education at Brimmer in Kindergarten. Quinn excelled on the soccer field, basketball court, and baseball diamond. He was a three season athlete throughout Grades 6-12. He led the Gators to three league championships (one in soccer, basketball, and baseball). His coaches have described him as a dedicated, hardworking, coachable, and especially determined athlete.

He made the players around him better because of his attitude and strong work ethic. He never settled for less than perfection in his own play, but was the first to support a struggling teammate. He can be characterized by his aggressive and physical style of play, which is difficult to teach and is something that coaches admire. Quinn was an impact player on every team, a leader on the field and court, and highly respected by his teammates. He played to win, while maintaining the highest standards of sportsmanship and integrity. He was admired and feared by opposing coaches and players.

As an athlete he earned 14 varsity letters, four in soccer and five in both basketball and baseball. In addition, he was recognized as the Most Valuable Player an impressive three times in soccer and baseball and once in basketball. Quinn earned the Coach’s Award twice, and was named captain seven times. Tony Wright '13, a Brimmer lifer, began Brimmer in the third grade. Throughout his time at Brimmer, he left a lasting impression on all of those who met him. He can be characterized by his aggressive and physical style of play on both the soccer field and lacrosse fields. Tony consistently displayed his talent, enthusiasm, and confidence in every challenge he was faced with.

Gritty, team oriented, and determined, he brought the same intensity to practices as he did to games. During his time at Brimmer, Tony helped to bring our men's lacrosse program back to a competitive level. Tony’s strong resume includes a soccer league championship, a NEPSAC Soccer bid, multiple Most Improved Player awards, Coaches' awards, and MVP awards. • 2017 — HEATHER GATES '13

Heather Gates '13 began her athletic career in middle school. Mr. Iuliano had the great pleasure of coaching her as she began her career as a member of the Sixth Grade Girl’s Basketball Team. One could easily see from the sideline even at that early age that she was coachable, skilled, dedicated, and competitive. She led that sixth grade team in scoring, was the primary ball handler, a tough defender, and a leader on the floor.

Truly, her athletic career at the school is one of the most accomplished in the School’s long history for women’s sports. Her individual and team accomplishments were many. Heather was a 3-season athlete for all 7 of her years in the Middle and Upper Schools. She was named Outstanding Athlete twice and Scholar Athlete five times in those seven years. She earned a place on the High Honor Roll for every grading period from sixth grade to graduation. She played 5 years on the Varsity Girls Soccer Team, earning the Coach’s Award once, and the Most Valuable Player Award 5 times. Heather played 5 years on the Varsity Girls Basketball Team, earning the Most Improved Player Award once, and the Most Valuable Player Award 4 times. She played 4 years on the Varsity Softball Team, earning the Coach’s Award twice and the Most Valuable Player Award 3 times. Heather was named to All-League Teams nine times in her athletic career: 4 in soccer, 3 in basketball, and 2 in softball. She was named League MVP once in basketball and once in softball. She captained the Varsity Soccer Team for 1 year, the Varsity Basketball Team for 2 years, and the Varsity Softball Team for 3 years.

By the numbers, an athlete cannot do much more than that for her team and for her School. She brought home at least one league championship trophy in each of the three sports she played as well as one New England Championship banner. She represented the School in exemplary fashion as a student and as an athlete. We are proud of her accomplishments as an athlete and know that she has set a very high bar for both individual and team achievement for those athletes who follow her. It is my pleasure to welcome Heather Gates, Class of 2013, as the 14th member of the Brimmer and May School Athletic Hall of Fame.
  • 2014 — STEPHEN MULLOY '11 & MARGARET FAWCETT '09

Stephen Mulloy '11 committed himself fully to his play in soccer, basketball, and lacrosse games, and he had the ability to raise his level of play as the game situation dictates; this is an impressive attribute and one which all athletes aspire to and a select few possess. Stephen wore a Brimmer and May uniform for what seems like a lifetime. He was a familiar face to opposing coaches and foes, but it was with apprehension they greeted him and prepared to face his team. Not one to allow himself to settle for being average, he pushed himself to achieve at the highest possible level. Stephen served each team he played on with incredible passion, determination, and an unflagging will to win.

On the soccer field, he was the starting sweeper, a position that requires a tenacious demeanor, and he never failed to put forth his best effort. Over the course of the soccer seasons, he made more than a few heroic plays that spared the Gators from sure defeat. His drive kept the Gators motivated and competitive on a daily basis. In his senior year, as captain of the soccer team, he was a leader from his midfield position and topped the team in scoring, recording 50% of the total goals scored.

As a member of the Varsity Boys' Basketball team, his team spirit and dedication to the program were vital to the teamís championship run.Again as captain, he started every game and led the team in several statistical categories including scoring, rebounding, assists, and steals. He was not only the teamís “go-to” player, but the teamís “do everything” player. This ability was evident when he helped his team overcome a halftime deficit and build a 10-point lead to wing the MBIL championship for the School.

Finally, as a freshman "rookie" on a varsity team, he had to prove himself to the veterans and withstand a few, good-natured, jokes in the meantime. He was quick to earn the respect of his teammates by demonstrating an excellent work ethic unmatched in a three-season athlete and by not taking himself too seriously. One of his lacrosse coaches described him as an exceptional athlete with an unrelenting drive to succeed. He was one of the most experienced members of the lacrosse team and served as a role model for the team. He proved to be a fast and strongplayer able to run by defenders and was one of the teamís top scorers. Notably, he was well respected by his teammates for his sense of fair play, commitment to his team, and dedication to working hard to contribute positively to his teamís overall success. He played the game aggressively, but never with aggression.

Margaret Fawcett '09 was a motivated athlete with an unlimited source of energy. She was unquestionably one of the top athletes in the School. Aggressive and intense, she was an intelligent leader in whatever she was doing, and her teammates respected her for the way in which she handled herself both in games and at practices. When the game was one the line, coaches wanted her on the field or court.

She had a competitive drive that few athletes could rival. She unfailingly gave everything she had in every game she played, sometimes ending up on the sidelined with exhaustion at the end of the contest. Some very wise person once said, “Our greatest strengths are our greatest weaknesses.” This phrase fits Margaret Fawcett. As a Brimmer and May athlete, her competitive fire and sheer athleticism, produced astounding results on our fields and courts. Whether throwing herself in front of thunderous penalty kicks from 12 yards out in the soccer goal, pushing herself through the final minutes of fast break/full court press basketball, or going horizontal to snare line drives back through the pitcherís mound, she sacrificed herself for the team. Other coaches were forced to change their game plans to work around her. Her efforts came without a hint of selfishness. Because she was the consummate team player, her exploits always come with the interests of the team in mind. It is rare, wonderful, and inspirational to watch an athlete so gifted, so driven, and so selfless all in one package. Still, it is the sheer joy she got out of playing sports that is most noticeable; she plays because she has fun, and her smile and laughter on the field and in team huddles were wonderfully infectious. She combined everything a coach could ask for in a player.

Leading by word and deed, she was a key player on four league title winning teams in her high school career, and in her senior year she was a captain and a star on the I.G.C. soccer, basketball, and softball championship squads; hers is a resume unparalleled in school history.
  • 2013 — KERRIE BOURQUE ’10 & DEREK RETOS ’10

Kerrie Bourque ’10 won two Independent Girls Conference (IGC) Championships in both soccer and basketball. As a result of her excellent play, she was named one of her team’s Most Valuable Players in soccer, where she started as a defender in every game of her two-year career. She was named to the All-IGC Second Team in soccer as well. But it was on the basketball court that this player truly shone . . . . She rewrote the record book, setting new Brimmer and May girls’ standards in points in a game, points in a season, points in a career, 3-pointers in a game, 3-pointers in a season, and 3-pointers in a career. She scored 1,048 points in just two seasons at Brimmer and May, becoming the first female to ever do so and the first athlete— male or female—to reach the 1,000-point plateau so quickly. In addition, she led the IGC in scoring as a junior and senior. Kerrie was her team’s captain and an MVP as both a junior and senior. She was a two-time Boston Globe Player of the Week, two-time First Team All-IGC, and two-time NEPSAC (New England Preparatory School Athletic Council) All-Star, and was also an IGC Most Valuable Player. Certainly Kerrie’s individual statistics are remarkable, but what is more impressive is her passion for the game and her unmatched desire to win. . . .

Kerrie attends Fairfield University and is majoring in communications and minoring in marketing. She continues to play basketball at an intramural level and recently returned home from a semester abroad in Barcelona, Spain.

Derek Retos ’10 was captain of the Brimmer and May Varsity Basketball team, and was ranked first in many statistical categories. His generosity and fairness in interacting with both teammates and opponents was only exceeded by his scoring average. In even the toughest, most important, and most pressure-filled games, he demonstrated the level of sportsmanship befitting Brimmer and May’s Core Values. Few players have made as great an impact on the Brimmer and May Boys’ Basketball program as Derek did during his career. A twotime captain, he is Brimmer and May’s all-time leading scorer with 1,763 points. He currently holds the record for most games started, with more than 125, games won with 99, and points in a game with 43. A member of the Varsity squad as an eighth grader, Derek became the youngest player in School history to reach the 1,000-point plateau as a sophomore. He was named the Brimmer and May Scholar-Athlete of the Year as a freshman and was also named his team’s Most Improved Player and Most Valuable Player. In addition, early in his playing career, Derek was selected to the MBIL (Massachusetts Bay Independent League) All-League First Team and to the NEPSAC (New England Preparatory School Athletic Council) Second Team. In his senior season, Derek was named the Most Valuable Player in the St. Sebastian’s Basketball Tournament and was named to the St. Andrew’s Basketball Tournament All-Tournament Team. Throughout his career, he always put his team above himself. His contributions to the Brimmer and May Athletic Program are undeniable. . . .

Derek attends Brandeis University and is majoring in business with a minor in economics and legal studies. At Brandeis, Derek has served as basketball team captain since his sophomore year. He has scored over 600 points, been named ECAC (Eastern College Athletic Conference) Player of the Week, and going into his senior year, he is currently in the top three on Brandeis’ career 3-pointer list with 112.
  • 2012 — KYLE CASEY '09

Kyle Casey '09 was characterized by his aggressive and physical style of play, which is difficult to teach and admired by all coaches. He is a young man of tremendous character with an outstanding work ethic who would not settle for anything less than perfection.

During his time at Brimmer and May, Kyle was a leader in all aspects of the game from scoring, to team defense, and was chosen as captain all three years he played at the School. No player worked harder or had more desire to be the best he can be. Kyle was encouraging to other athletes and shared tips and pointers at halftime of their games. He was the first player to congratulate a teammate or extend a hand to help an opponent off the floor. Kyle took his academics and athletics seriously, and his attitude and approach to both were a rare mixture to find in a young athlete. They were key factors in his success.

Kyle won the Most Valuable Player for Varsity Basketball all three years and also won the Upper School Sportsmanship Award twice. He wrapped up his Brimmer and May career with 1,173 points, over 900 rebounds, and over 250 blocks. Kyle was recognized all three years as a New England Prep School Athletic Conference selection and earned Most Valuable Player honors at the 2009 St. Sebastian’s Tournament. He won 83 games and won a NEPSAC title as a Sophomore. Brimmer and May Athletic Director Jeff Gates commented duirng the Athletic Awards Ceremony that, "Kyle will go down in history as one of the best players ever to play basketball at Brimmer and May."

Kyle went on to become a dominant college player at Harvard University, where he earned many accolades for his achievements on the basketball court. Kyle graduated from Harvard and was one of 12 draft prospects working out with the Celtics! Read more in the Metrowest Daily News.
  • 2011 — EMMA BECKER '06 & CHRIS WARREN '06

Emma Becker '06 can best be described as hard working, driven, and team oriented. Emma’s contributions were integral to the success of both the basketball and tennis teams. As an athlete she earned 10 varsity letters, four in basketball and six in tennis. In addition to that, she was recognized as the Most Valuable Player on her basketball team twice and collected the same honors in tennis an impressive four times. Emma Becker was not only a fine athlete but also an excellent student. She was an honor roll student and earned high honors four times. Emma won the Scholar Athlete award in 2003 and the Sportsmanship Award in 2006.

Emma continued her tennis career while attending Linfield College after graduation. She played No. 6 singles and was an integral part of varsity squad that won conference championships in two consecutive seasons. She was named her team's Most Improved Player in 2007. The following year she transferred to Keene State College to study Early Childhood Development. As a student at Keene State, she was on the Dean’s List each semester and graduated Magna Cum Laude. She will begin a career as an infant-toddler teacher at a child care center. Becker was chosen for the Hall of Fame because of her contributions as a student-athlete at the Brimmer and May School.

Chris Warren '06 can be characterized as one of the hardest working athletes to have ever played sports at Brimmer and May. He spent countless hours in the gym and weight room working on his basketball skills. He was a four year varsity player, serving his final two years as captain. During his four years on the team he was part of four league titles and a New England Championship. As a member of the team he won the Most Improved Player Award, The Coach's Award and Most Valuable Player Award. He was recognized as a league all-star during his junior and senior seasons. He was just the fourth player in Brimmer and May history to reach one thousand points in a career. What makes this feat so impressive is that Chris accomplished this playing six fewer games per season than what is commonly scheduled currently. His total of 1,204 points is the fourth highest total in school history.

Chris is a graduate of Williams College and is currently employed by Cambridge Associates, an investment consulting firm based in Boston.
  • 2010 — EILEEN DAVIDSON '04 & KYLE BOND '08

Eileen Davidson '04 was a talented, enthusiastic, fearless, and confident three-season athlete. Davidson came to Brimmer as an eighth grader and immediately made a name for herself. She was the first eighth grader to play varsity sports. On the soccer field she played right wing, she played off guard in basketball, and she placed center in lacrosse. Eileen would have been a three-season athlete all five years at Brimmer and May if not for an injury that did not allow her to play basketball one season. Eileen was captain of her soccer team for two years, as well as a three time all-league player for both basketball and lacrosse. Her soccer and basketball teams both won the league titles in 2001. Eileen led both her soccer and lacrosse teams in scoring as a junior and senior. Eileen won the Outstanding Athlete Award in eighth grade, and the Never Give up, Never Give In award as both a freshman and senior. She was selected as a league All-Star in soccer and lacrosse. She was a tremendous competitor and a pleasure to watch. We commend her on all the hard work she put forth when many athletes would have given up.

Kyle Bond '08 lettered in basketball, lacrosse, and cross country. He received the Most Improved Player award in lacrosse and was the MVP in Cross Country. He played on the varsity basketball team as an eighth grader, and during his tenure here helped lead the basketball team to two League Championships and two New England Class “D” Championships. He was a two-time recipient of the coach’s award in basketball and a two-time team captain. As a sophmore he won the Never Give Up, Never Give In Award, and as a junior hr was named the highest of honors—the Scholar Athlete Award.

Having just completed his sophomore year at Washington and Lee University in Virginia, one of the top liberal arts institutions in the nation, Kyle is majoring in business administration, with a minor in philosophy, and he is one of the top guards on the varsity basketball team. Last year, Kyle was instrumental in helping the team progress all the way to the finals in the Old Dominion Athlete Conference, one of the top rated D3 conferences for basketball in the nation. On the basketball court, Kyle has been named Player of the Game and has been a game leader in scoring, assists, and rebounds.
  • 2009 — KERRY KILEY '06, JILL LEE '07, DAVID MAEL '05, BOBBY BRAYBOY '98

Kerry Kiley '06 can be characterized by her aggressive and physical style of play which is difficult to teach and is something that coaches admire. She rarely settles for less than perfection in her own play but will be the first to support a teammate struggling to be proficient in her game. Kerry was an impact player on each team she played on. She was a leader on the field and on the court, who was respected by her teammates. She played to win while maintaining the highest standards of sportsmanship and integrity. She was admired and feared by opposing coaches and players. Kerry earned twelve varsity letters playing soccer, basketball, and softball and was a three-season athlete for all six of her years at the school. She won four Most Improved Player Awards, seven most Valuable Player Awards, and four Coaches Awards, was voted captain many times by her teammates, and was selected as a league all-star in both soccer and basketball. She also was named the Outstanding Athlete in every one of her six years. Kerry went on to play division 3 soccer at The College of Wooster in Ohio. Her team made the conference championship, and Kerry was named captain of her college team.

Jill Lee '07 was a three-season athlete five out of a possible six years. In the fall she played one year each of soccer, field hockey, and golf and ran cross-country for three years. These are all of the fall interscholastic sports Brimmer and May offers. In addition, she played basketball in the winter and lacrosse in the spring. On the golf team she scored her first par just two weeks after picking up a club for the first time. Many of her coaches have described her as a dedicated, hardworking, coachable, and especially determined athlete. She makes the players around her better because of her attitude and strong work ethic. She won thirteen end-of-season awards: 1 Most Improved Player Award, 6 Most Valuable Player Awards, and 6 Coach’s Awards) as well as being name to the league all-star lacrosse team for four years. In addition, she won 6 major end-of-year awards: 1 Scholar Athlete Award, 2 Never Give Up, Never Give In Awards, and 3 Outstanding Athlete Awards). Lacrosse has been her true love and the sport that she is truly passionate about and dominates in. Jill is the top goal scorer in Brimmer and May history. In her sophmore year she lead the team in scoring with 49 goals. It was not surprising to see Jill stand out as one of the best players in the league during an allstar game, one time scoring 4 goals for her team. Jill played division three college lacrosse at the College of Wooster.

David Mael '05 excelled in soccer, basketball, and baseball. Possessing sound skills in soccer, he stood out in this sport because of his athleticism and passion. In soccer he was the starting center forward for his last three seasons and has over 30 goals to his credit. He led the Gators to four straight league championships and the 2005 New England Prep School championship. As a junior he became the third player in Brimmer and May’s history to score 1,000 points. In addition during Davids freshman and sophmore years at Brimmer he and several other athletes pursued the possibility of starting a baseball program. In the first year, he was one of two starting pitchers. In fact, he pitched the school’s first game. In that game he struck out sixteen batters, while singling twice. He is not only an outstanding athlete but a fine young man as well. As a three season athlete, David was named captain of the basketball team, won numerous post season awards, and was named the Outstanding Athlete as a junior and senior. David went on to play basketball at Brandeis University.

Bobby Brayboy '98 began his education at Brimmer and May as a first grader. He is well remembered for his athletic talents as well as many other interests that he has pursued. Brimmer and May’s run of athletic excellence started with the boys’ basketball program, led by Bobby Brayboy. Bobby was a true scorer from the shooting guard/ small forward position, and his tremendous slashing ability and smooth shooting enabled him to be Brimmer and May’s first 1,000 point scorer. More importantly, Bobby embodied all that Brimmer wants its athletes to be. He won the Scholar-Athelte award for three consecutive years. During his senior year, Bobby received almost straight A’s taking the most challenging courses Brimmer had to offer. His desire to excel on the basketball court was matched only by his desire to excel in the classroom and on the stage. Bobby represented “the better” and “the best” of Brimmer and May’s motto and should be the standard for all of the school’s student athletes. He went on to play college basketball at Brandeis University.
