Andrew Beal
Andrew's grant will be used to purchase a Social Emotional Learning (SEL) kit to be used throughout the year in Middle School. The “Ultimate Kit” will be held in Mr. Beal’s office. As Director of Student Life, he will ensure the materials will be used by every student in the Middle School multiple times a year.
Having in-house materials means teachers can access them throughout the year and can react immediately when our community needs intervention. In the Middle School, additional opportunities exist during assembly block, advisory block, and in growth education. The materials can be used/scheduled both proactively and reactively instead of a one-and-done model that was employed in the past. This grant will have an immediate and lasting impact on all the students in the Middle School.
