Susan A. Edwards Booster Award
The Susan A. Edwards Booster Award is given to parents and staff members who have supported the Brimmer and May athletic program all year by attending games on a regular basis and positively encouraging our school athletes in their endeavors. In the cases of this year’s recipients, special efforts were made in several ways that have bettered the experiences of our student athletes. The Brimmer and May Athletic Department would like to recognize and thank these parents and faculty for going above and beyond.

The Never Give Up and Never Give in Award
The Never give up is given each year to athletes who play at least two seasons that embodies sportsmanship and who persist when faced with adversity and challenge. These student athletes’ dedication and commitment inspire teammates to be better. The winners are respected by peers and coaches for persevering in every situation and never losing track of the purpose and spirit of athletic competition. These awards are presented to deserving athletes in both the Middle School and Upper School.

The Spirit and Leadership Award is given annually to athletes in the Middle and Upper Schools who embody the true spirit of Brimmer and May athletics and provide outstanding leadership to their teams. These inspired athletes have exhibited exemplary work ethics and positive attitudes in practices and games. Their dedication to their sports both on and off the field has contributed significantly to their teams’ successes and the athletic program of the school.

Sportsmanship Awards
The Sportsmanship Award, established in 1998 at the request of the students, honors athletes who, both on and off the playing fields, possess the attitudes and demonstrate the values that Brimmer and May upholds. These athletes care for their teammates and their opponents and treat all with respect and kindness. They understand the spirit of competition and are gracious in victory and defeat.
