Brimmer and May’s 23-24 AP Scholars

AP Scholar — Granted to students who receive scores of 3 or higher on three or more AP Exams.

 

AP Scholar with Honors — Granted to students who receive an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams

 

AP Scholar with Distinction — Granted to students who receive an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams.

Occasionally, in pursuit of learning interests, as well as advanced placement/college credit, students may take additional AP exams for courses they pursue independently outside of school. Overall, for 2023-2024, the average score our 17 scholars earned was 3.72 on a total of 76 exams. Students earned AP Scholar status for their efforts on as few as 3 and as many as 8 AP exams. 

 

In 2024-2025, Brimmer is offering 2 new Advanced Placement Courses, Computer Science A (Programming) and Human Geography. In the Upper School, 83 students in Grades 10 - 12 have 195 enrollments in 17 Advanced Placement courses. The pursuit of academic excellence continues in these and the many outstanding course offerings in the Upper School this year.
