Kindergarten Artwork

Kindergartner artists were inspired by the work of Fernando Llort. They used black outlines, bold colors, and simple geometric shapes to create these charming birds. Once completed, students signed their names with a flourish using the classic Fernando Llort signature. Students learned that Fernando Llort is recognized as El Salvador's "National Artist." Llort's art work reflects simple life in El Salvador and focuses on rural or pastoral scenes and images. Llort is known not only for his artwork, but also for his social programs that train people to create a living through the arts.
