LS Apple Picking 2024

Our Lower School Buddy Apple Picking Trip is a highlight for our Lower School Community! This annual tradition not only brings our Lower School community together but also fosters an appreciation for local agriculture. It was a delightful day for all, filled with laughter, learning, and of course some delicious snacks!

Head of Lower School Kimberly Formisano says, "we are incredibly fortunate to have Lookout Farm open its doors to our students. The children picked plenty of apples and even a few peaches to take home and enjoy. Once again, the Buddies impressed me with the care they showed in shepherding their younger partners through the orchard on the long trek to find the best apples. They held hands, gave directions, shared stories, and built strong connections. I look forward to seeing the relationships between Buddies continue to flourish as the year progresses."

Many thanks to the Lower School team for sharing their photos with us!
