6th Annual Bissell Grogan Symposium

Parents, Teachers, Alumni, and Friends joined together for the 6th Annual Kenyon Bissell Grogan Symposium, Initiatives For Global Peace. Keynote speaker, Dr. Paul Beran, Director of Outreach, Center for Middle Eastern Studies at Harvard University gave a talk entitled, "Engaging the 21st Century Middle East Region." He spoke to students about how land and resources are divided and the conflicts this causes. He challenged students saying, "Part of your job as you grow and develop as professionals is how are you going to help people..." who are less fortunate than you, to improve their lives? He impressed upon students that their skills are going to be needed to solve world problems in relation to economics, health, and other areas.
